Shot in under three weeks for around $1M, director Andrew Hyatt’s eerie, unsettling thriller THE FROZEN stars True Blood actress Brit Morgan as Emma, who along with her boyfriend Mike (Seth David Mitchell) find a trip to a romantic getaway becomes a gruelling exercise in survival amongst the snow-capped mountains and forrests of Colorado. The independent chiller is a passion project for Hyatt, who also has written the feature which co-stars Noah Segan.
Below we have a look at the first poster and more fascinatingly, a creepy trailer (that despite the opening, overly dramatic voiceover) suggests we could have a terrifically terrifying time once it hits its tragically straight-to-DVD/VOD US release date on the 18th December. We’re still awaiting a release here in the UK for either home entertainment or theatres.
