As the old saying goes, fight fire with fire. Or in the case of Guillermo del Toro’s forthcoming alien invasion sci-fi epic, fight great big f*cking monsters with great big f*cking machines! Yes, PACIFIC RIM is one of next years most anticipated blockbusters with a cast of human pilots (played by the likes of Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi), taking control of massive metallic ‘Jaegers’ when Earth comes under attack from otherworldly creatures known as ‘Kaiju’.
Following the beginning of last months viral campaign and the news writer Travis Beacham and del Toro are already at work on a sequel, here we have the awesome first trailer for the film co-starring Charlie Day, Clifton Collins Jr., Ron Perlman and Robert Kazinsky. We also have a brand new poster and set of images!
