A new poster for JOHN DIES AT THE END has been released, looking slightly less 1970s STAR WARS and rather more horror/phantasm cool. JOHN DIES AT THE END is about Dave (Chase Williamson) and John (Rob Mayes) who become involved with the new ‘it’ drug on the street know as “soy sauce” which transports the taker to other dimensions from which they may not return human. Meanwhile, it is up to Dave and John – best-friends and college dropouts – to fight this insidious invasion, will they succeed? No, of course not!
Adapted from David Wong’s trans-genre novel and directed and written by Don Coscarelli (BUBBA HO-TEP) and also starring Clancy Brown, Glynn Turman and Paul Giamatti this is definitely one of the films to check out this year if you like your horror with a dose of humour. The film has been surfacing at numerous film festivals around the world but is due to land in cinemas this year in the USA on the 25th January and in the UK on the 22 March 2013.
