After last years stunningly impressive teaser and trailer for ROBOTS and ICE AGE director Chris Wedge’s latest animated effort EPIC, things have been pretty quiet of the promotional front, beyond this trailer our News Editor, Dan, discovered in July of last year. However, that is about to change as we slowly creep up to the films’ release on 24th May. The ‘cartoon’ (are we even allowed to call them that anymore?) has a focus on young teenager Mary, who is accidentally (and magically) shrunk by her scientist father and lost in a nearby forest where she unites with some equally tiny fairy-like soldiers in battle to save their beloved forest home from destructive evildoers.
Check out the first poster from the family fantasy featuring a voice cast that includes Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Amanda Seyfried, Christoph Waltz, Pitbull, Jason Sudeikis, Steven Tyler, Aziz Ansari, Chris O’Dowd, Blake Anderson, Judah Friedlander and Beyoncé Knowles.
