Trailer For Danny Boyle’s ‘Trance’ Debuts!

Always a director worth a watch, Academy Award-winner Danny Boyle’s latest thriller sees James McAvoy as art auctioneer Simon, who becomes involved in the heist of a Goya masterpiece with a group of ruthless, underworld criminals led by the ever-intense Vincent Cassel. The film is set to hit cinemas in the UK on the 27th March (a US date is still to be confirmed) and co-stars Rosario Dawson as highly-intelligent psychotherapist Elizabeth, hired to coerce the location of the priceless painting after Simon double-crosses his mobster partner.

Check out the first trailer for the film below. You can also check out the first stills and quotes from Boyle about the plot, which appeared only a matter of weeks ago.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
