Not many hours past between the announcement of this year’s Oscar nominations and release of the first promos for the 2013 Seth MacFarlane hosted Academy Awards . Some might be surprised by the bold choice of having Family Guy creator host the prestigious and serious event, but it’s no secret that the Academy Awards is trying to attract a younger demographic.
After failing terribly with Anne Hathaway and James Franco two years ago, they’re giving it another try with Stewie himself. Check our MacFarlane looking mighty dashing in a tuxedo and trying to justify his hosting gig in these five promos.
