First Trailer & Image For Halle Berry Horror ‘The Call’

Previously and more appropriately genre titled as THE HIVE, Oscar-winner Halle Berry returns to suspense after the likes of GOTHIKA and the one nobody saw – DARK TIDE, with Brad Anderson’s THE CALL. The film, which was set to be directed by Joel Schumacher before a late change was made, follows a veteran 911 operator who receives a cryptic call from a teenage girl who has just been abducted. She soon discovers that this girl’s captor has a link to her own past traumas and must confront a killer if she’s to save a life.

Check out the first trailer and image for the film expected in the US on the 15th March, which co-stars Abigail Breslin, Morris Chestnut, Michael Eklund and Michael Imperioli. A UK date is still to be confirmed.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
