Someone should really tell Ms. and Master Bates that these advertisements are not great for business. The five posters below are all part of the advertising push for A&E’s prequel series to Alfred Hitchcock’s classic PSYCHO. BATES MOTEL stars Vera Farmiga and Freddie Highmore as mother and son. The story will see Norma Bates and her son Norman obtaining a motel after the death of their husband/father. However, the small town of White Pine Bay has its own secrets to conceal. The show will put a contemporary spin on the tale, which should help die hard fans distance it from the inspiration of PSYCHO.
BATES MOTEL hits the tellybox in the US on 18th March 2013.
