PACIFIC RIM may not have even hit cinema screens just yet, but that hasn’t stopped talk concerning Guillermo Del Toro’s next project, CRIMSON PEAK. As reported at the beginning of December, CRIMSON PEAK will be a ghost story written by Del Toro and Matthew Robbins, with production starting in 2014. It is now being reported that Emma Stone will likely be taking the lead. Nothing is written in Stone, as it were, and the script is currently being rewritten by Del Toro and Lucinda Coxon. Despite the lack of information as far as the plot goes, the idea of Del Toro handling such a horror is an exciting one. Emma Stone is currently starring in Gangster Squad and will also be reprising her role of Gwen Stacy for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2.
