In our first part of a Bruce Willis Bonanza, we have the first trailer for aging spies sequel RED 2. I haven’t seen the original, but this looks like a lot of fun and I’m clearly missing out. The comedy and action seems to be well divided and it’s nice to see some serious thespians letting their hair down. Dean Parisot steps into the director’s chair for his first feature film since 2005’s FUN WITH DICK AND JANE, and the cast are joined by the likes of Catherine Zeta-Jones, David Thewlis, Anthony Hopkins, and Korean megastar Lee Byung Hyun. Meanwhile the poster is pretty dull, unless you like reading names. Which I’m sure some people do.
RED 2 is scheduled for release 2nd August 2013. It stars Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker, David Thewlis, Lee Byung Hyun, Anthony Hopkins, and Neal McDonough.
