I smell of the blood of a Bryan Singer film. This year, before jumping back on board with the X-Men franchise, Singer releases his retold fairytale in the form of JACK THE GIANT SLAYER. It sees Nicholas Hoult as Jack, who encounters more than just one big bad bloke at the top of a beanstalk. With action, comedy, and romance, this could be an exciting and accessible film, but then again, perhaps it has cast its net too wide. We’ll find out soon enough, but I just love seeing giants on the big screen.
JACK THE GIANT SLAYER is released 1st March 2013 in the US and 22nd March 2013 in the UK. It stars Nicholas Hoult, Eleanor Tomlinson, Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Ian McShane, and Bill Nighy.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
