Can there be a better film with TOP GUN in the title? We think not, and with Tom Cruise, Kelly McGillis and that bloke who played Dr Green in from ER, everyone is onto a winner. We’ve now received news that TOP GUN 3D is due this year on the big screen and we’ve got the first trailer and more details. Although it does seem a good excuse to make a little more money, everyone is doing it, so we can’t really complain and especially with such a classic.
Tony Scott’s 1986 action brilliance is returning to the beauty of IMAX for an exclusive six-day 3D flight IN THE USA from February 8th – 13th (We’re currently hunting down confirmation for any UK showings). They’ve also revealed the new 3D trailer for the film starring Tom Cruise, Kelly McGillis, Val Kilmer, Anthony Edwards, Tom Skerritt and Michael Ironside. If you don’t know it, where have you been? TOP GUN is the tale of those elite pilots who are competing to be…the best! The film has also been re-mastered from the high-res original negative scans and converted to 3D, but most poignantly of all, under the supervision of the film’s late director, Tony Scott.
