Everyone loves Cobie Smulders. It’s now a law. Not just because she’s an excellent and likable actress, but also because anytime someone mentions Cobie Smulders, you can reply with “She sure does! Hey? Wink-wink, nudge-nudge” etc. The HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER and THE SLAMMIN’ SALMON star got herself a role as Agent Maria Hill in last years AVENGERS, and although she may have seemed like just another agent, there’s no doubt we’ll be seeing a lot more from her. Maria Hill will definitely be making an appearance in CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER, but how about the S.H.I.E.L.D. television series which is currently shooting its pilot? In an interview with IAmRogue, Smulders filled us in on her possible future involvement with the show.
The commitments to [‘How I Met Your Mother’] don’t affect it, and I can’t really say but there are definite talks about it… I will do Maria Hill until they fire me and hire someone else to do it.
The more recurring characters the better I say. It will also be great to see more connections between the Marvel TV universe and film world.
