Korean Thriller ‘The Berlin File’ Gets A Trailer

Here’s a North American trailer for Korean thriller THE BERLIN FILE. The plot sees a North Korean ghost agent revealed and hunted down, was he betrayed? And if so, who exactly is going to get a face full of fist? THE BERLIN FILE is directed by Ryoo Seung Wan, who gave us CITY OF VIOLENCE (2006) and CRYING FIST (2005). This trailer certainly shows a real understanding of action entertainment, with some martial arts and gun fights lighting up the screen. The cast is also nothing to be sniffed at, with Ha Jung Woo proving himself in the fantastic films TIME (2006), THE CHASER (2008) and THE YELLOW SEA (2010). The trailer is short but intense, and considering Korea has taken on just about every genre, with brilliant results, in the last decade, this is an espionage thriller to be excited about.

THE BERLIN FILE is released in the US on 15th February 2013. It stars Ha Jung Woo, Han Suk Kyu, Ryu Seung Beom, and Gianna Jun.
