Last week we brought you the first official image from KICK-ASS 2, which showed off a jumpsuited Aaron Taylor-Johnson and camouflaged Jim Carrey in their respective roles of Kick-Ass and Captain Stars & Stripes. You may have been missing Hit-Girl (Chloe Grace Moretz), but fear not, as we can bring you some brand new images of her character today!
Based on the comic book created by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr., the highly-anticipated sequel focuses on Kick-Ass and his fellow masked avengers, who team up with Captain Stars & Stripes to take down Red Mist aka The Mother F%&*^r. However, the key to our heroes survival comes in the form of a tiny, purple-haired bad ass, who managed to drop the C-bomb in KICK-ASS without batting an eye.
As a fan of the first film, I’m really looking forward to the sequel, especially with Carrey in a lead role.
Directed by Jeff Wadlow and co-starring Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Donald Faison and John Leguizamo, KICK-ASS 2 is scheduled for a US release from 28th June 2013 and a UK release from 19th July.
