Back in the late 90s, I remember a TV Show called Dark Skies starring J.T. Walsh and Eric Close, that featured spider-like creatures that came out of people’s mouths and basically then recruited them into their Alien ways. I’ve got a feeling that this in a similar ‘evil’ Alien vein for the film DARK SKIES, that’s arrived via the found footage souls of PARANORMAL ACTIVITY and the the surprisingly impressive INSIDIOUS.
This outing is written and directed by Scott Charles Stewart, the man who directed the quite ridiculous LEGION, but saying that, I bloody loved it. Now we’ve got an eerie viral website for you to enjoy with the opening slogan “Once you’ve been chosen, you belong to them“, so naturally…I’m about to sign up at Youhavebeenchosen.org but, will you?
My first report as follows, lots of foreboding music and locations on where you’ve been, I’m set to be abducted by Aliens in 2015, which is nice to have a date. DARK SKIES stars Keri Russell and Josh Hamilton,Dakota Goyo, Kadan Rockett, and J.K. Simmons. It’s set to be released on the unexpected public on April 5th the UK and it’s out on the 22nd February in the USA. Here’s the official synopsis:
