Fox Picks Up Comic Book ‘Mind MGMT’ With Ridley Scott Set To Produce

Comic books and graphic novels are some of the hottest properties in Hollywood these days. Now it has been reported that 20th Century Fox has picked up the rights to another one and that Ridley Scott will produce it. The Dark Horse comic book which is called ‘Mind MGMT’ and is written by Matt Kindt has the following synopsis:

The book centers on a government agency consisting of psychic spies and their greatest asset, Henry Lime. After he suffers a breakdown and loses control of his abilities, causing the populace of a town to kill one another, he goes on the run. Several years later, a true-crime author named Meru, who was part of a flight where everyone mysteriously developed amnesia, is saved by Lime and begins to investigate the agency, uncovering her own secret connection to it.

It sounds like a pretty brilliant premise that is ripe for a cinematic adaptation. Ridley Scott won’t be directing this and no writers are attached to adapt it into a screenplay yet, so it is still a project in its infancy. But I think it is worth looking out for more information about this in the future, which we of course will bring you here on THN.
