With just over a month until its release, it’s time to start getting excited for OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL!
Directed by Sam Raimi (SPIDER-MAN, THE EVIL DEAD), this ‘prequel’ follows James Franco as Oscar Diggs, who is swept away from Kansas to the wonderful world of Oz. However, things don’t go as smoothly as he’d like, as the townsfolk believe he is the magical wizard they’ve all been waiting for. Confronted by three witches (Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz and Mila Kunis), Oscar must change his greedy ways – or be sent back home.
This new animated poster shows off Weisz as Evanora…and she really doesn’t look happy! As a fan of THE WIZARD OF OZ and of Frank L. Baum’s original story, I’ll be first in line for a ticket.
