Talk about being in a glass case full of emotion! After months of will she, won’t she? It has been confirmed that Kristen Wiig will be joining the much anticipated sequel to ANCHORMAN.
The director of ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND CONTINUES Adam McKay first posted to on his twitter account to confirm that the actress is officially on board.
But when Christina Applegate, who will be reprising her role as Veronica Corningstone in ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND CONTINUES, also tweeted the news that Wiig will be joining the cast, where it became very exciting news.
Although the cast and crew are being very open about Wiig’s casting, there has not been an official statement. According to internet rumours, Wiig will be playing Brick Tamland’s (Steve Carrell) wife.
ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND CONTINUES is set to be released December 20th.
