If two outings weren’t enough for your museum come to life fetish, then you can rejoice as director Shawn Levy is returning for a third outing. The film is aiming for a 25th December 2014 release date. Looks as though Santa is going to be extra generous that year with a present the whole world can enjoy. Still no word yet on which museum they’ll be heading to next, but I hope it’s the Louvre. This means it looks as though Shawn Levy’s other proposed comedy, ALOHA, starring Ben Stiller and Jonah Hill, may have to wait a little while longer.
The release date for young adult novel adaptation THE MAZE RUNNER also has its release date set, 14th February 2014. So that’s all your holiday seasons sorted for next year, until then you young whippersnappers will have to keep to your Harry Potters and Edward Cullens. THE MAZE RUNNER sees teenagers wake up in a mysterious maze where they must fight for survival.
