A Scowling Jackman Gives Us Another Look At ‘The Wolverine’

THE WOLVERINE will see Hugh Jackman reprise his signature mutant role for the 6th time (and will soon return for a 7th in Bryan Singer’s currently shooting  X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST), which now makes him the as most revisited comic-book character by a single actor. Pity his last outing, X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE, was utter gash!

The action this time takes place in Japan, as everyones favourite borderline psychotic superhero, Logan, travels to train with a samurai warrior but soon finds reasons to bring out those razor sharp adamantium claws.

Check out this mean-looking new still of THE WOLVERINE, which is released 25th July 2013 in the UK and 26th July 2013 in the US. The plot is based on Chris Claremont’s acclaimed comic-book arc, it co-stars Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Brian Tee, Svetlana Khodchenkova and is directed by James Mangold.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
