The remake of EVIL DEAD is certainly garnering a lot of fan attention from both horror purists and casual visitors to the genre. So much so i fact, that Sony have been able to reduce their advertising campaign a little bit. The plot sees a group of friends arriving at a cabin in the woods and accidentally summoning some demons. As you do! The film isn’t going to win any prizes for originality, but the use of practical effects as well as the support from the makers of the original, is making this one not to be missed. Here’s the latest poster in all its blood red g(l)ory.
EVIL DEAD is released 5th April in the US and 19th April in the UK. It stars Jane Levy, Jessica Lucas, Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, and Elizabeth Blackmore.
