IRON MAN 3, directed by Shane Black, will see Robert Downey Jr.’s high-flying industrialist, Tony Stark, face the might of Ben Kingsley’s formidable, Mandarin, and Guy Pearce’s treacherous scientist, Alrich Killian, as they embark on a devious mission to unleash the Extremis Virus on the world. Marvel’s latest film will mark the beginning of their ‘Phase II’ superhero series, which will also include a solo return of both Avengers’ Steve Rogers and the handsome demigod Thor, in CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER and THOR: THE DARK WORLD, respectively.
Following soon after yesterdays new character poster of Gwyneth Patrow’s Pepper Potts, we have a cool look at some concept art for one of Tony Stark’s new, alternate and bulkier IRON MAN 3 suits, known as the Heartbreaker.
IRON MAN 3 hits cinemas in the UK 29th April and the US 3rd May.

Looks pretty mean! Much better than the ugly creamy beige armor we already saw. I hope it ends up on film.

I’ve never heard of heartbreaker armor and I’ve been collecting comics for 32 years.Are you sure this isn’t the Hulkbuster armor that’s supposed to be in movie?

It’s not the Hulkbuster armour as we’ve seen images of that before Edmund. We suspect it’s been named that because of a pivotal scene in which it plays in the film
