Yesterday we debuted the first image of the new Spider-Man suit for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2. With filming on the rebooted franchise sequel having just kicked off, we now have the first glimpses of what’s going on on set. As the film is still in the very early stages of production there isn’t anything too exciting to wet your whistle over. However, I do kind of like the shots of Spider-Man through the white branches of a tree. Might make a nice Christmas card. The shots do give us a first look at our new Mary Jane Watson, but she’s no Kirsten Dunst.
I found THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN to be an unnecessary retread of Spider-Man’s origins, but this sequel is shaping up nicely as it heads into unexplored territory with Jamie Foxx’s Electro and Paul Giamatti’s Rhino on villain duties.
THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 will be released in the UK on 18th April 2014 and in the US on 2nd May 2014. It is set to star Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Paul Giamatti, Dane DeHaan, Sally Field, Martin Sheen, and Shailene Woodley.

4th pic from the bottom looks scandalous. Excited to see this despite the less-exciting (though classic) suit, and the less than stellar MJ.
