Oscar-Nominated ‘No’ To Get Exclusive Two-Week iTunes Preview

Gael Garcia Bernal in 'No' NO, the Oscar-nominated political drama tipped as the best arthouse film of 2013, is set to be released on iTunes for an exclusive two week preview from 8th March.

Directed by Pablo Larrain, the film sees Gael Garcia Bernal star as daring advertising executive René Saavedra, who is asked to head the opposition campaign against Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet. With few resources and under constant scrutiny, Saavedra and his team fight against the odds to bring down Pinochet’s totalitarian regime.

Network, the distribution company behind the film, have commented on this early release saying:

“We are giving the UK public the chance to see NO on iTunes and Curzon On Demand for two weeks only as many cinemas have opted not to programme the arthouse hit. There is a genuine desire amongst film-lovers to see it, and we here at Network want to provide them with that opportunity as soon as possible.”

NO will be available to view on iTunes and Curzon On Demand from 8th March 2013. You can read our 5-star review here.

Considering Jazmine grew up watching CARRY ON SCREAMING, THE LION KING and JURASSIC PARK on repeat for weeks on end, it made sense for her to study film at London South Bank University. It’s also a good thing that her course requires a lot of sitting down because she’s very accident-prone. When she’s not examining her bruises, she likes pretending that she doesn’t live in Southend-On-Sea and spends hours mindlessly blogging. Favourite films include BLUE VALENTINE, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and TOY STORY 2.
