It’s going to be hard for Marvel to top the superhero ensemble, THE AVENGERS. However, they do have Robert Downey Jr.’s wisecracking billionaire industrialist Tony Stark to call upon when they’re struggling. IRON MAN 3 will see a bruised and battered Stark needed not long after the Battle Of New York, as a slimy scientist (Guy Pearce’s Aldrich Killian) forms an allegiance with a bearded terrorist (Oscar-winner Ben Kingsley’s Mandarin) with plans to unleash the Extremis toxin on the globe.
Here we have the stunning first look at the main poster for the Shane Black-directed actioner (now upgraded high-quality), which hits UK cinemas 26th April and the US on the 3rd May. There is not much difference but we’ve added both the US and UK designs.
