Watch: Special Effects Featurette For ‘Rust And Bone’

Out this week on Blu-ray and DVD, read our review here, is the excellent RUST AND BONE starring Marion Cotillard and Matthias Schoenaerts. The film centres on Stéphanie (Cotillard) and Ali (Schoenaerts), in a very different kind of relationship but strangely incredibly understandable and real. In the film, Stéphanie loses her legs below the knee after a nasty accident with an Orca Whale at the Marineland where she works. For the film, Cotillard’s legs had to be digitally removed and let me tell you, if you’ve not seen it yet, the kind of technology involved that doesn’t make you think twice…is the best kind.
