Steve Coogan’s hilarious alter-ego, Alan Partridge, will finally be seen on the big-screen this August. THE ALAN PARTRIDGE MOVIE is currently shooting in Norfolk and Coogan looks to be taking to the streets as his failed TV chat show host-turned-North Norfolk Digital DJ is being hounded to ‘Dish The Dirt’. What dirt could that be? The plot for the new feature is being kept under wraps, but following the recent images and video from earlier in the week, the ever-quotable character felt the need to arm himself.
Partridge regulars Felicity Montague, Phil Cornwell, Tim Key and Simon Greenall, all reprise their brilliant roles in the forthcoming film which is directed by Declan Lowney (FATHER TED) and is released in August. Here are those latest images.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
