Winning THE HUNGER GAMES means Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) has returned home safe along with fellow survivor Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson). Their ‘Victory Tour’ however, springs a surprise as it may not all be over for the two blossoming tributes. President Snow (Donald Sutherland) has schemes brewing and it appears a coming together of past surviving contents could be next on the cards for our heroes.
THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE, Francis Lawrence’s sequel to last year’s runaway hit, sees the return of fellow co-stars Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, Toby Jones, with newcomers Jena Malone, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amanda Plummer. I arrives in cinemas 22nd November

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
