Over the course of the last few days we’ve taken a look at the latest THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE character posters including Haymitch, Cinna, Effie, and Caesar. Now it’s the big one, Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence as heroine Katniss Everdeen. THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE sees previous winner Katniss and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) going on a victory tour whilst the 75th Hunger Games are about to take place.
Whereas I preferred the film of THE HUNGER GAMES to the book, I am yet to read CATCHING FIRE. Hopefully it will take the story into new and interesting places. It will certainly further boost Jennifer Lawrence’s career, who has this franchise, X-MEN, and her Academy Award. Once again this poster looks quite stunning, and captures the materialistic showmanship of the capitol.
THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE is released 22nd November 2013. It stars Jennifer Lawrence, Donald Sutherland, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Stanley Tucci, Woody Harrelson, Jeffrey Wright, Amanda Plummer, Lenny Kravitz, and Toby Jones.
