Ever wondered what your life would’ve been like if you were born during WWII? Or what you’d be doing post-War? Well, now you can find out with the help of the My ’45 infographic generator, in association with Ken Loach’s new film THE SPIRIT OF ’45.
In 1945, buoyed by the post-war unity of a nation, a newly-elected Labour government changed the shape of British society, with development across health, housing and jobs, having an impact on all aspects of life. But what would your life be like if those changes hadn’t happened? How many years would you have left to live? Where would you be living? What would your job be? How many children would you have? Would all of them have survived?
Visit www.thespiritof45.com and follow the simple steps to find out whether you’d be a housewife, jobless, wealthy, healthy…or dead. The My ’45 digital experience also offers exclusive extended interviews and bespoke archive material, enabling you to delve deeper into the stories of those featured in THE SPIRIT OF ’45. For example, instead of Jazmine I’d be called Lily, a working girl rejected from university, living in a cramped 2-bedroom house. I’d also only have 51 years left of my life!
