Scott Neustadter & Michael Weber Set To Write ‘Rules Of Civility’

Scott Neustadter and Michael WeberIt has been announced that Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber have been hired to adapt the 2011 novel RULES OF CIVILITY for the big screen.

RULES OF CIVILITY, which was released back in 2011, tells the story of a young woman’s rise to success in 1930’s New York. The book, which was written by Amor Towles, spent 27 weeks on the New York Times best sellers chart and even Oprah Winfrey called it the most cinematic book of 2011 (and when Oprah praises, you know it should be good!). The film will be the fourth book adaptation for the screenwriting duo.

2013 is definitely set to be the pair’s year. Their latest scribe THE SPECTACULAR NOW is set to go down well at this month’s SXSWand the script for their adaptation of YA novel THE FAULT IN OUR STARS is set to be one of the highly anticipated films of the year.

It’s a long way from (500) DAYS OF SUMMER isn’t it fellas?
