One of my most anticipated films will have to be Derek Cianfrance’s follow up to the soul crushing BLUE VALENTINE, THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES. Starring Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper as the two male leads, the film centres around a motorcycle stunt biker (Gosling) and a rookie cop (Cooper) who cross paths when the former starts to rob banks as a way to provide money for his girlfriend and new baby. The film’s just been given a new atmospheric poster and it’s beautiful – check it out below.
THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES is directed by Derek Cianfrance. It stars Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper, Eva Mendes, Ray Liotta, Rose Byrne & Dane DeHaan. It is scheduled to arrive in US cinemas on 29th March and UK cinemas on 12th April.
