‘The Alan Partridge Movie’ Teaser Trailer Arrives With Official New Title

Sod the director of JURASSIC PARK IV, I personally couldn’t give a monkeys. I am however, extremely excited to see Steve Coogan’s “Jurassic Park” bellowing cult character, Alan Partridge, up on the big-screen in his very own film. Coogan’s quotable and cringeworthy creation has been a fan favourite since the early nineties following appearances in THE DAY TODAY, KNOWING ME KNOWING YOU and of course, I’M ALAN PARTRIDGE. Now his ‘tragic’ talkshow host and radio DJ will be unleashed in UK cinemas from 7th August.

We’re hoping FATHER TED director Declan Lowney hits the “back of the net” with the transition which includes Partridge veterans Felicity Montague, Tim Key, Phil Cornwell and Simon Greenall, alongside newcomers Colm Meaney, Sean Pertwee and Anna Maxwell Martin. The title of the film is ALPHA PAPA (we think?) and here we have the brand new teaser trailer.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
