Shawn Ryan, the man responsible for one of the best TV cop shows of all time THE SHIELD, is currently putting the pieces together for a BEVERLY HILLS COP show, the pilot for which is currently shooting in Los Angeles. Now, I’m excited about this if nobody else is. Let’s just forget about BEVERLY HILLS COP III shall we?
The planned series, which is housed at CBS in the US, the same network as CSI, will star Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley (at least in the pilot), and Brandon T. Johnson, who plays a character named Aaron who is desperate to escape from the shadow of Foley.
David Denman, Kevin Pollak and Sheila Vand also star in the show.
