These days we don’t need to wait for a book to be published to get an adaptation, and non-fiction is no different. The not-yet-released BUNKER HILL: A CITY, A SIEGE, A REVOLUTION, by author Nathaniel Philbrick is being eyed by Warner Bros. and although nothing is set in stone, rumours abound that Ben Affleck is showing some interest. That comes as no surprise due to his affinity with Boston, where the book is set. The book will tell the story of violence excalating after The Boston Tea Party in 1773. It will be great to see Affleck handling a period drama after the success that was ARGO. Affleck’s next film will be LIVE BY NIGHT, which will put him in 1920’s Boston.
BUNKER HILL: A CITY, A SIEGE, A REVOLUTION will be published on 30th April 2013.
