Kiefer Sutherland hasn’t been in many movies since appearing in the hit TV show 24 but can soon be seen as an evil senator in POMPEII. Paul W.S Anderson’s POMPEII started shooting in Toronto last week, and Sutherland is now in final negotiations to join the cast of the movie. He is set to play the villain in the natural disaster flick, based around the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D.
Kit Harrington from GAME OF THRONES will play a slave who is on a mission to rescue his love and his best friend before disaster hits the city. Emily Browning will play the love interest and Jared Harris is set to play her father.
