The first trailer for Marc Forster’s film adaptation of Max Brooks’ novel, WORLD WAR Z, had a genuine epic feel to proceedings as we got a quick look at Brad Pitt and family escaping the ravenous undead hordes. The footage hinted at a more action-oriantated spectacle as opposed to a straight-up gory genre offering you’d expect to feature legions of zombies… and they were bloody legions (albeit CGI’ed)!!!
Superstar Pitt plays UN specialist Gerry Lane, who travels the globe in a race against time to stop the growing pandemic that is toppling armies and governments, and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Check out this brand new trailer from the film invading cinemas from the 21st June and co-starring Matthew Fox, David Morse, Mireille Enos, James Badge Dale, David Andrews and Eric West.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
