It was revealed a couple of days ago that the first of Michael Bay’s space Ninja Turtles was cast with Alan Ritchson (BLUE MOUNTAIN STATE) getting cool but crude as Raphael. Now we know who will round off the fearsome fighting team…and they are pretty much all unknown. Pete Ploszek (one episode each of PARKS & RECREATION as well as SHAMELESS) will lead as Leonardo, Jeremy Howard (GALAXY QUEST) will build machines as Donatello and Noel Fisher (BATTLE: LOS ANGELES, TWILIGHT: BREAKING DAWN PART 2) will be the party dude, Michealangelo.
With Megan Fox bringing the ‘star power’ so far as April O’Neil, nothing so far has really made me look forward to this thing, and to be honest these latest casting news is doing nothing to dampen my fears that this will end up being utter crap. Then again, I’m not one for completely writing off a project before the final product is out…who knows, it might be brilliant. What do you guys think? Let us know in the comments below.
