Fred Savage Taking Charlize Theron On A ‘Ladies Night’?

"It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" Season 4 DVD Party - ArrivalsWhat would you do if I sang out of tune? Would you turn to directing comedies? Possibly! That’s what THE WONDER YEARS’ Fred Savage has been up to of late, although all his directorial endeavours have been there on the small screen. That’s still nothing to sniff at, as the shows he has contributed to include IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA, 2 BROKE GIRLS, MODERN FAMILY, WHITNEY, and FRANKLIN & BASH. Well now, Fred Savage is looking to jump into feature film making and is currently discussing directing Charlize Theron in LADIES NIGHT. LADIES NIGHT, which Theron will also produce, is a BRIDESMAIDS style comedy written by David Caspe. Theron has been making a push towards comedy of late, as she is also confirmed for Seth MacFarlane’s A MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST.

Savage has certainly proved himself more than capable, and perhaps it’s time he was allowed to handle a big star on the big screen. The film will be produced by David Ellison’s Skydance Productions.
