We have the brand new international trailer for the bonkers wannabe superhero sequel, KICK-ASS 2. Aaron Taylor-Johnson returns alongside Chloe Grace Moretz as the green-hooded avenger and the foul-mouthed teen assassin, Hit Girl. Jeff Wadlow writes and directs the film, with the original helmer, Matthew Vaughn, producing.
The plot this time sees the costumed high-school hero join forces with a group of citizens who’ve been inspired to fight crime against bad-guy Red Mist (Christopher Mintz Plasse). Now tagged The Motherfucker, he’s looking for revenge following the death of his mobster father. The film, based on the graphic-novel by Mark Miller and John Romita Jr., is released on the 16th August and co-stars Jim Carrey, Lindy Booth, Morris Chestnut, Clark Duke and Yancy Butler.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
