Can You Handle This New Gory Extended ‘Evil Dead’ Clip?

It was always going to be an impossible task to ask any filmmaker to match or even top Sam Raimi’s graphic splatter flick, THE EVIL DEAD. However, it’s to Fede Alvarez’ credit he decided to mix things up by dropping the cult character of Ash completely and give the story of five friends forced to venture to ‘that’ cabin in the woods, a genuinely refreshing spin.

This time the focus is on Mia, who needs the help and support of her brother and friends to complete a drug detox. Unfortunately, they’ve chosen the wrong place as the Book Of The Dead is discovered in the basement and no matter how much barb wire is wrapped around, someone is curious enough to unleash its content!

This brand new extended clip should give film fans a clue to see if the intense remake is for them. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

EVIL DEAD is released in the US on the 5th April and the UK on the 19th April. It stars Jane Levy, Jessica Lucas, Lou Taylor Pucci, Elizabeth Blackmore and Shiloh Fernandez.
