You might recognise her as the quirky best friend in, like, every romantic comedy possible, but you will be happy to know that Judy Greer will be donning her best ape look for the sequel to the 2011 reboot DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES. Greer will be playing female chimp Cornelia. She was introduced in the first film as a love interest for ape Caeser (played by Andy Serkis) but will have a much more prominent role in the sequel.
When speaking about her newest movie, she said:
“It’s a very different kind of work than I’m used to, I’m not going to be wearing Manolo Blahniks in this one.”
An ape in high heels? Sounds like a great idea…
