Extended TV Spot For ‘Fast & Furious 6’ Confirms Earlier UK Release

The gang of the FAST & FURIOUS return for the sixth outing which sees most of the action taking place in our very own London capital. Justin Lin returns to direct for what may be his final film in franchise after helming the previous three actioners. Expect more guns, girls, explosions and of course, fast cars, as Vin Diesel’s Dominic Torretto and crew are asked for their help in bringing down Luke Evans’ devious mastermind by Agent Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson), in return for a way back into to the US and a pardon for past crimes.

The latest extended television trailer offers a little nugget of new footage and confirmation that the film lands a week earlier in the UK on the 17th May. The US is still on course for a 24th May release.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
