Shinichiro Watanabe, the anime director most famous for his work on COWBOY BEBOP and SAMURAI CHAMPLOO, has been confirmed as a guest at the MCM London Comic Con. He will attend all three days of the event, and will be welcomed as the rightful Anime Guest Of Honour. Both COWBOY BEEBOP and SAMURAI CHAMPLOO have been incredibly influential on the medium, as well as being heralded as an inspiration for animation outside of Japan.
Watanabe will be there to discuss his latest work KIDS ON THE SLOPE which will receive a DVD and Blu-ray release via MVM Entertainment on 24th June. Those that pre-order the release (from Amazon or HMV) and bring proof to the MCM London Comic Con will recieve a limited edition A4 COWBOY BEBOP print to get signed (while stocks last).
