Is it just me, or are they not even trying with the make-up these days? The apes below look positively human. Well, I guess they know what they’re doing. These first set pics of DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES show-off Andy Serkis as Caesar,leading a colony of apes, as well as members of the human survivors Keri Russel and Jason Clarke. DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES is set 15 years after the events of the first film, which ended with Casear and buddies going to live in the forest while a deadly virus spread across the world and killed off most of humanity. The film is currently shooting in Vancouver.
DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES is released 23rd May 2014. It stars Jason Clarke, Keri Russel, Gary Oldman, Andy Serkis, Judy Greer, and Kodi-Smit McPhee.
