Excitement for writer/director Neill Blompkamp’s sci-fi thriller ELYSIUM was given more than a little lift when the superb trailer debuted online earlier this week, along with the first poster, great new stills and the official website launch. Matt Damon headlines as a man who volunteers to bring equality to the planet in a future that sees the rich living a life of luxury on a man-made space station in the sky, while the rest of the population reside on a ruined Earth, starving and desperate.
Check out these two new images from the film co-starring Jodie Foster, Sharlto Copley, Wagner Moura, Alice Braga and Carly Pope. It opens in US theatres from the 9th August and the 20th September in the UK.
