With Francis Lawrence now expected to take over the remainder of THE HUNGER GAMES franchise from Gary Ross, someone at Lionsgate must have been impressed with what they’ve seen thus far. Those looking forward to seeing the big-screen follow-up in Suzanne Collins’ best-selling novel series still have until November to wait for more forced, barbaric entertainment involving the teenagers Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) by the ruthless President Snow (Donald Sutherland).
All major cast members return including Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Toby Jones, Lenny Kravitz and Stanley Tucci, as the THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE also boasts newcomers Lynne Cohen, Amanda Plummer, Sam Claflin and Jena Malone. It arrives 22nd November and here are some new stills (although a couple we’ve featured before in low-res magazine form).
