We have another couple of posters for two of this summers most anticipated sequels, as well as one of the seasons rare comic offerings.
First of all, we have a closer look at Benedict Cumberbatch’s revenge-seeking villain John Harrison, in J. J. Abrams’ sci-fi epic, STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS. It’s the blockbuster follow-up to his 2009 reboot of Gene Roddenberry’s 1960s iconic television series. The film which sees the return of the Enterprise crew hits cinemas in the UK from 9th May and the US from 17th May.
Next, Dwayne Johnson’s Agent Luke Hobbs and humvee are showcased in the latest character one-sheet for Justin Lin’s fast-pact actioner, FAST & FURIOUS 6. His lawman is back to offer Vin Diesel’s boys a way back to their homeland if they help bring to justice Luke Evans’ dangerous criminal mastermind. This one arrives in the UK from the 17th May and the US 24th May.
Finally, we have a rather uninspiring teaser poster for Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy’s mis-matched buddy comedy, THE HEAT. Directed by BRIDESMAIDS’ Paul Feig, the film follows uptight FBI special agent Ashburn (Bullock) who is paired with boisterous Boston cop Shannon Mullins (McCarthy) in an effort to take down a ruthless drug lord. It’s released in the US 28th June and the UK from 31st July.
