First Poster & Details For Lance Edmands’ ‘Bluebird’ Starring John Slattery

This year’s Tribeca Film Festival will see the debut of Lance Edmands’ BLUEBIRD that stars John Slattery, Amy Morton, Adam Driver, and Margo Martindale. Edmands has previously worked on a few smaller, projects has specific vast experience comes from working on the award-winning The Wire.

Mad Men‘s John Slattery takes one of the lead roles as a lumber worker Richard who’s about to lose his job at a dying mill, an industry that once ruled the area. His wife, Lesley, is portrayed by Amy Morton, a school bus diver who makes a lethal mistake and changes the world around her, the life of their teenage daughter (Emily Meade), plus Crystal (Margo Martindale) and Marla (Louisa Krause). There’s also a part for Adam Driver of Girls fame, he takes on the role of a distraction for a troubled young woman, we think he’s done that before…

BLUEBIRD is set in the north of Maine in the US and described as a multi-story drama that ties together tragedy and perseverance, I think I know this kind of story but these films are all about performance and so I’m very interested to see what Edmands has created. You can check out behind-the-scenes shots on their Facebook page over here and in the meantime, here’s that poster:
